All yoga is plenty relaxing, but this is a good one that will get into your hip flexors and psoas.
This is fun because there’s two halves of class that are kind of mirrors of each other, separted by a literal and metaphorical bridge. After the bridge, dragonfly reflects butterful and deer reflects cat.
Try this bridge progression: start with a bolster under hips for supported bridge. Extend your legs out long in front of you. Reach your arms up overhead. Hold for 3 minutes. Then pull your left knee into your chest and hold it with both hands. Keep your left leg stiff as a board and feel the fulcrum lift it in the air as you pull the opposite knee in tight. Once your left leg is floating, hold for 1 minute and feel it across the left hip flexor. Switch sides and hold for 1 minute.
